What can I say? It's an OEM item, made by Sony-Ericsson. It charges your cell phone and has a built-in light with an on/off switch. It works!

The clip on the cell-phone connector on the first adapter I received was broken. The retailer replaced it. The second adapter lasted for three usages. On the third usage, one of the two plastic retainer tabs on the cell-phone connector broke at the base. Sony Ericcsson claims not to have a problem with the tiny plastic retainer tabs, and is sending me a third adapter at no charge. The retainer tabs are on all SE connectors - 120-volt adapters, USB connector and 12-volt adapter. They are not the typical metal plugs, and break even when used very carefully.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my new Sony Ericsson CLA-60 for my W300i cell phone. In addition to being able to charge my phone during road trips, there is a built in map light. So even if you aren't recharging your phone, the cigarette lighter adapter is useful. In addition, the adapter allow you to piggy-back another accessory so you can listen to music while the phone is being recharged.
